VIP of San Francisco

Many celebrities come from or live in San Francisco. We can quote the photographers Ansel Adams and Dorothea Lange ; the dancer Isadora Duncan, often seen as the founder of the modern dance ; the contemporary writer Armistead Maupin or the novelist Robert Louis Stevenson. San Francisco is also the den of many film directors and actors, among whom Robin Williams and Sean Penn. Clint Eastwood was born there. He even shot in SF, remember the saga of Dirty Harry? Francis Ford Coppola used to live and set up his production company American Zoetrope in The City. George Lucas, who lives in the north of SF, recently moved the headquarters of Lucasfilm Ltd., Industrial Light & Magic and LucasArts in the Presidio park.
